What We Do

Three capabilities. Machines no catalog sells.

01 / Design

Equipment Design & Manufacturing

Our team of mechanical and controls design engineers develops and designs many different types of machinery and equipment — covering all aspects of mechanical and controls design and build.

We test equipment and systems in our own facility in the most “real world” environment possible, and we're capable of complete custom machine builds under our own roof.

02 / Fabricate

Custom Fabrication & Machinery

We maintain multiple modes of mechanical and controls build resources in-house: a fully-staffed fabrication and machine shop and our own control panel fabrication shop.

Keeping fabrication and machining in-house is a deliberate differentiator — it lets us manufacture custom equipment on small or large scales with the most up-to-date manufacturing technologies, without outsourcing delays.

03 / Install

Factory Installation & Setup

We provide complete mechanical, electrical, and controls on-site setup and support for custom machinery and equipment.

Installation teams are in-house, guided by our own project managers, and carry a wide variety of skillsets — because the implementation stage is critical to the success of any project.

Our Differentiator

Custom manufacturing capability sets J+H apart from the industry

Many systems depend on custom equipment to perform reliably — which is why J+H keeps a full-time staff at our fabrication and machining facility. Our ability to manufacture custom equipment on small or large scales frequently sets our offerings apart from the rest of the industry.

In addition to a large spectrum of standard components, we design and construct even the most custom components and systems — and our 2025 facility expansion added 75% more production space for building and testing them.

Custom Machinery FAQs

Common questions about custom machine builds

What kinds of custom machinery can J+H build?

Our mechanical and controls design engineers develop many different types of machinery and equipment — purpose-built for processes where off-the-shelf equipment can't do the job, on small or large scales.

Is fabrication done in-house or outsourced?

In-house. J+H maintains a fully-staffed fabrication and machine shop plus our own control panel fabrication shop, using current manufacturing technologies.

Do you test custom machines before delivery?

Yes. Equipment and systems are tested in our own facility in the most real-world environment possible before they ship.

Can custom equipment be integrated with standard components?

Yes. We routinely combine custom-built machinery with standard conveyors, robotics, and controls to form one complete system.

Who installs the machine at our factory?

J+H's own in-house installation teams, guided by our project managers, provide complete mechanical, electrical, and controls on-site setup and support.

Have a Problem No Catalog Solves?

Describe the process. We'll design and build the machine.
