Power-and-Free Conveyor for Assembly Process (Legacy 4.5)

Jervis Webb® Power-and-Free conveyor was the choice of technology for this residential gas furnace assembly line.  Installed in the late 1980’s, this system saw over 25 years of multi-shift production, with a cycle time as low as 22 seconds.  This system included automation of subassembly areas, automatic loading, automatic switching to test cells, and automatic pickup and transport to finished product warehouse.
