Case Study 6133: High-Volume Trailer Production

This system was engineered specifically for high-volume trailer production at a new Texas facility, part of a major expansion for our client. At its core, the project featured a powered Daifuku North America Unibeam X678 heavy-duty overhead chain conveyor, delivering a significant upgrade from the client’s previous conveyance system.

The installation included approximately 2,000 feet of conveyor track, built to handle product loads of up to 5,000 pounds each. J+H fabricated the bolt-up support steel in-house, ensuring efficient on-site assembly and long-term reliability.

The conveyor was fully integrated with the client’s preparation, coating, and curing processes, creating a seamless production flow. J+H provided end-to-end delivery, including mechanical and electrical engineering, fabrication, installation, and controls. By working closely with the client and coordinating with additional equipment suppliers, J+H ensured a smooth, successful project execution.
