Position Overview
J+H Automation Solutions Material Handling Systems is seeking a Fabricator to support its Fabrication Shop Group in Hackett, Arkansas. This position reports to the Production Manager.
J+H Automation Solutions is a full-service engineering company that specializes in industrial machine, custom material handling, and control systems — including design, fabrication, assembly, and installation. As a Fabricator, you build the structural steel and custom components at the very start of that chain.
Key Responsibilities
- Working with metal components for machining and fabrication
- Assisting with custom equipment assembly
- Assisting with trailer loading/unloading
- Maintaining and cleaning the fabrication shop

Additional Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and assembly prints
- Experience using common hand and power tools (drills, saws, dremel, screwdrivers, wrenches, hammers, etc.)
- Experience working with mechanical equipment
- Forklift operation experience
- Clean driving record and valid US driver's license
- Self-motivated and able to work on a team
- Able to pass a background check
Physical Requirements
- Frequently lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Stand, walk, bend, kneel, and reach for extended periods
- Work safely around and operate machinery, power tools, forklifts, and overhead lifting equipment
- Ability to climb ladders and work from elevated platforms when required
