Full-Time Hackett, AR Shop MIG · TIG · Arc Welding Certificate Required

The role in one line: a certified welder-fabricator in our Hackett, Arkansas fabrication shop — MIG, TIG, and Arc welding, machining, and custom equipment builds behind the conveyor systems and machinery our field crews install nationwide. Position Overview

J+H Automation Solutions Material Handling Systems is seeking a Fabricator to support its Fabrication Shop Group in Hackett, Arkansas. This position reports to the Production Manager.

J+H Automation Solutions is a full-service engineering company that specializes in industrial machine, custom material handling, and control systems — including design, fabrication, assembly, and installation. As a Fabricator, you build the structural steel and custom components at the very start of that chain.

Key Responsibilities

  • Working with metal components for machining and fabrication
  • Assisting with custom equipment assembly
  • Assisting with trailer loading/unloading
  • Maintaining and cleaning the fabrication shop

Qualifications & Required Skills

Welding Certificate required, with a minimum of 2 years of welding/fabrication experience.

Additional Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and assembly prints
  • Experience using common hand and power tools (drills, saws, dremel, screwdrivers, wrenches, hammers, etc.)
  • Experience working with mechanical equipment
  • Forklift operation experience
  • Clean driving record and valid US driver's license
  • Self-motivated and able to work on a team
  • Able to pass a background check

Physical Requirements

  • Frequently lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • Stand, walk, bend, kneel, and reach for extended periods
  • Work safely around and operate machinery, power tools, forklifts, and overhead lifting equipment
  • Ability to climb ladders and work from elevated platforms when required
